Who are we looking for:
Are you passionate about Japanese cuisine and eager to be part of something new from the very beginning? We are looking for a Head Sushi Chef and a Sushi Chef to help launch a fresh culinary concept in the heart of Norway. If you love working with high-quality ingredients and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to shine!
You will be working in an international environment, excellent English or Norwegian skills is a must. We require minimum 3 years of experience as a sushi chef (head chef experience is a strong advantage)
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi and sashimi with a high level of quality and precision
- Collaborate on menu development – both classics and innovative new creations
- Ensure proper ingredient handling with a focus on freshness, food safety, and flavor
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness to the highest standards
- Work closely with the General Manager and the team to ensure smooth operations
- Support the training and professional development of colleagues
You should have:
- Language: English or Norwegian
- Driving license is an asset
- Willingness to relocate to Mo i Rana, Norway
- Passion, professionalism, and dedication to the craft

Other than that we offer the following:
- Norwegian contract with all its benefits, such as insurance, pension contributions and holiday allowance
- Salary from 240 NOK for Sushi Chef up to 270 NOK gross/ hour for Head Sushi Chef
- Accommodation: Free for 3 months, then paid by employee
- Flight ticket reimbursement
- Start date: Approx. mid-September 2025
- Contract: 6 months via Adecco, with direct hire opportunity after
- Provided working clothes, safety boots and necessary tools for free
- Experienced HR-consultant on site
